To business owners and corporate executives, valued supporters and friends:
On Saturday, April 8th Building Bridges Through Music will celebrate the 14th Annual Gospel/Jazz Brunch at BREAKAWAY Restaurant in Danvers.
This is our signature annual fundraising event! It is our hope that you will join other community leaders, businesses and friends to help us celebrate our song of hope, determination, and promise for future generations.
The brunch is a special event drawing over 250 BBTMusic supporters from the North Shore, Greater Boston, and beyond. Live Jazz will be provided By Anthony Grant & Friends, returning this year due to popular demand. Performances by BBTMusic students past and present will also be featured.
BREAKAWAY will serve an incredible brunch buffet. Several scholarship awards will be presented to high school graduates as well community service recognition awards. This being our 14th Annual Gospel/Jazz Brunch, we hope you’ll help us make it the most successful to date.
We're shooting for the stars, and aiming to raise $250,000 this year. With the help of sponsors such as you, I know we can do it! Your tax deductible contribution helps support the work of Building Bridges Education Through Music, so all programs are accessible to children and adults at all socioeconomic levels; primarily underserved children and youth considered to be “at risk”.
Building Bridges Through Music is a Lynn based non-profit organization whose mission is to bring together diverse neighboring communities for the purpose of increasing cultural awareness and racial harmony by using music, dance and dramatic presentation as a multicultural educational tool.
Even during these difficult economic times, Building Bridges is growing and expanding our programs and the number of children, youth and adults who participate in them. Highlights of our A# - Asharp (Academic Excellence with Music in Mind) included implementation of our summer Literacy thru Music program, FloCabulary.
Our dream of 2013, moving to a, larger, newly renovated and modernized facility, was put on hold due to many unanticipated challenges – BUT we’re determined, committed and hopeful that this will be a reality in 2017.
Please help us by choosing the SPONSORSHIP option that works best for you and thank you in advance for your consideration in being a sponsor of our 14th Annual Gospel-Jazz Brunch. A member of our fundraising committee will follow up with you to go over any questions you may have and to work out any details!
