Job Description:

Building Bridges through Music A# After-School Program is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and creative educators and college intern students who are passionate about working with school-age children to join our team! As a BBTMusic educator you will be responsible for planning and implementing S.T.R.E.AM based educational  activities for Kindergarten through 5th-grade children. furthermore, as BBT educators you'll be influential in helping our students reach a higher social and emotional competency level through the ongoing support you provide. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide educational support, supervision, and positive behavior management skills to children.

  • Plan and implement engaging, educational enrichment activities such as  reading, teamwork activities, indoor and outdoor recreation, arts & crafts, S.T.R.E.A.M activities and more.

  • Maintain accurate logs and positive communication with team members, personnel, and parents.

  • Bring your best creative self and provide a fun and positive environment for the children.

​

 Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must be available for weekday  afternoons ( part-time).

  • Must have or be willing to obtain CPR certification.

  • Must be willing to undergo extensive background checks and fingerprinting prior to hire.​

  • Highschool GED or Associate's Degree in Education or Early Childhood Education with experience working with school-age children
